An MoU has been signed to set forth the framework for collaboration between the MPUAT and the PRICE to enhance applied research sharing agricultural stakeholders into self-sustaining mode through cutting-edge integrated research and outreach to meet the agricultural needs of the country with special reference to Rajasthan and to act as a link between the university scientists and rural community as well as allied industries.

The MPUAT has been engaged to train need-based quality human resources in consonance with the needs of the public and private sector organizations, conduct basic and applied research to solve both the existing and long-term problems; and arrange Human Resource Development (HRD) programs for effective transfer of technology to the officers and supervisory staff of the Departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Soil Conservation and Watershed Management, Animal Husbandry, etc.

PRICE and MPUAT agree to collaborate on research papers, technical notes, and other relevant publications with the goal of better understanding rural India. Both institutions will share knowledge and expertise to improve their respective research methods and will assist each other in enhancing the quality of their analyses.

Purpose and Scope: The purpose of this MoU is to establish a cooperative working relationship between the MPUAT and the PRICE to: (i) Facilitate data exchange for research purposes; (ii) Collaborate on research projects, publications, and methodological improvements; (iii) Establish an invitation program to enhance collaboration through short visiting stays for researchers.
