An MoU has been signed to set forth the framework for collaboration between the Shriram Life Insurance Company Limited (SLIC) and the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) and the PRICE Institute in order to promote interation and collboration in mutually benefiacal areas like primary research, knowledge creation and finnacial projects. 

The Shriram Life Insurance Company Limited (SLIC) is located Hyderabad works with the purpose - "To bring every family in the Indian society, especially the segments most vulnerable to the financial impacts of the loss of a breadwinner, into the safety net of Life Insurance."

IIM Udaipur, a second-generation IIM, one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country. It was set up by the Indian Government in 2011. Taking the legacy of older IIMs forward, IIMU aspires to set new benchmarks in the field of management education by combining excellence in both teaching and research.

SLIC, IIMU and PRICE agree to promote interaction and collaboration in mutually beneficial areas like primary research, knowledge creation and financial projects. We three agree on publishing research papers, reports, technical notes, and other relevant publications using data collection in any primary research with the goal to understand and establish the development management principles and practices in India and globally. We three institutions will share knowledge and expertise to improve their respective research methods and will assist each other in enhancing the quality their analyses.

Purpose and Scope: The purpose of this MoU is to establish a cooperative working relationship between the SLIC, IIMU and the PRICE to: (i) Facilitate data exchange for research purposes; (ii) Collaborate on research projects, publications, and methodological improvements; (iii) Establish an invitation program to enhance collaboration through short visiting stays for researchers.
