Panel Discussion and Release of the PRICE’s report “The Rise of India’s Middle Class”

PRICE is organising a panel discussion on “The Rise of India’s Middle Class:  A Force to Reckon With” of imminent discussants from public policy and corporate world. The three key issues that we intend to examine are (1) how the dynamism of the Indian middle class can be harnessed to drive development; (2) to understand India’s aspiring class and its members differ from the many millions of middle-class Indians who have not only emerged from poverty but have also achieved economic security; and (3) examine what the government and the private sector can do to significantly expand the middle class to the millions who aspire to join it.

We are showcasing the first set of findings through release of our report “The Rise of India’s Middle Class: Results from PRICE’s ICE 360⁰ Surveys” for the larger benefit for all concerned.
