Urban Consumer Spending Trends in India

This study aims to analyze and compare the spending patterns of individuals in the workforce on weekdays versus weekends. The focus is on understanding the volume and distribution of expenditures across key sectors, with special attention to workforce segmentation by industry (manufacturing vs. services), demographic variables (income level, gender, age, and family size), and spending categories.

Coverage 25 Cities from India’s 18 states.
Sample Design 3-stage stratified random sampling
