Nearly 21 per cent of India’s Super Rich households live in rural areas. More interesting is the story of developed rural which accounts for about 11 per cent of total households but is home to about 15 per cent of the Super Rich. On the other hand, the rest of the rural (emerging and left-behind rural) accounts for 53 per cent of the total country’s households but only 3 per cent of Super Rich households.
